The event will be held from 5–6 June 2026 at J.B. Auditorium, ATIRA–AMA, Ahmedabad.

As industries worldwide accelerate toward lightweighting, sustainability, advanced mobility, and high-performance manufacturing, India’s composites ecosystem is entering a defining phase of growth and opportunity.

To bring together the leaders shaping this transition, the Ahmedabad Textile Industry’s Research Association (ATIRA), in collaboration with the Composites Association India (CAI), and supported by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India under the National Technical Textiles Mission (NTTM), will host the 2nd International Symposium on Advancements in Composites, Speciality Fibres, and Chemicals (ISAC 2026) on 5–6 June 2026 at J.B. Auditorium, ATIRA–AMA, Ahmedabad.

The symposium will be graced by Hon’ble Minister of Textiles, Shri Giriraj Singh ji, as the Chief Guest, reflecting the growing national importance of composites and advanced materials in India’s industrial and manufacturing landscape.

A key highlight of the symposium will be a special address by Dr. Sanjay Mazumdar, Founder & CEO, Lucintel, who will share strategic insights on emerging global market opportunities, growth sectors, and the evolving business landscape for composites and advanced materials.

The two-day symposium is expected to witness participation from 250–300 delegates representing industry, government, research institutions, PSUs, startups, OEMs, and emerging innovators from across the composites and advanced materials ecosystem.

With increasing adoption of composites across aerospace, defence, renewable energy, electric mobility, infrastructure, railways, and urban development, ISAC 2026 aims to create a focused platform for discussions around technology, manufacturing, scalability, sustainability, and market opportunities.

The symposium will feature:

• Expert-led keynote sessions
• Industry-focused panel discussions
• Technology and application showcase
• Strategic networking opportunities
• Interactive forums on future industry challenges and opportunities

In a rapidly evolving global environment marked by shifting supply chains, sustainability pressures, and growing demand for high-performance materials, ISAC 2026 seeks to foster meaningful dialogue and actionable industry collaboration.

Through ISAC 2026, ATIRA continues to strengthen its commitment to advancing technical textiles and composites in India while enabling stronger industry-academia-government collaboration.
