Archroma – a

The new CFO is
going to replace Roland Waibel. Thomas Bucher has experience in Finance, having
held roles with leading industrial and services companies. He has also worked
as the Senior Finance Officer in the chemical sector. He was previously working
with Alpiq Holding AG where he was the group CFO and a Member of the Executive
Management Board since 2015. Before that, he has been the Group CFO at
Gategroup for 6 years. His main role there was to support the company’s listing
and subsequent strategic repositioning. Even before that, he has held a number
of senior finance roles at Ciba Specialty Chemicals for more than 12 years.

According to
Heike van de Kerkhof, CEO, the company is very excited to let Thomas Bucher
join the team and bring his expertise in finance. He is going to support the
agenda of making the company an undisputed leader in innovative and sustainable
specialty chemicals. She further thanked Roland Waibel for his contributions
since the beginning of the company in 2013. He has also played a crucial role
in allowing the company to grow along with building a strong finance expert
team and expertise at Archroma, she added.
