The duty, which would be in place for five years, has been imposed following recommendation of the designated authority in the Commerce Ministry last month. The petition seeking ADD was filed by the Association of Man-Made Fibre Industry of India. Grasim Industries, one of the association members, is the sole producer of VSF in India.
