Americhem acquires Prescient Color

Americhem has acquired Prescient Color Limited, a leading Indian producer of textile and speciality masterbatches in several attractive niche applications, including synthetic fibres. Americhem is a global leader in custom colour and additive solutions for customers seeking superior performance and batch-to-batch consistency for their polymer products.

The acquisition complements Americhem’s position in the global synthetic fibre market and expands its geographic reach in a high growth region. Prescient has built a premier reputation with strong customer relationships. The company offers best-in-class fibre development technology and expands Americhem’s global reach and technical expertise.
