Compact yarn is one of the growing high-value yarn segments that spinners are increasingly vying for, so as to succeed in a competitive yarn market. Realising the huge potential for compact yarn, A.T.E. has tied-up with Ningbo Dechang Precision Textile Machinery Co. Ltd., China, to bring a range of high quality compact spinning systems to Indian spinners.

Dechang, one of the leading compact conversion manufacturers, is known for its high quality equipment which is based on suction and perforated nylon apron concept. Dechang has a patent for its complete compact modification kit. Dechang can supply and install its entire compact systems on almost all makes of ring frames. They have a reference base of 2 million spindles in China and more than half a million in other markets.

Expressing his enthusiasm for this tie-up, Laxmikant Rathi, VP Spinning Accessories & Exports, A.T.E. Enterprises, said, ¨We were looking for a reliable and technologically advanced compact system that can produce high quality compact yarn, which we have found in the Dechang compact system. This partnership will bring the best technology to the Indian compact yarn market.¨

As per the arrangements, A.T.E. will maintain a stock of critical and important components like lattice aprons, suction tubes and gear box assemblies for the compact yarn system. The Indian spinners can thus look forward to fast and excellent sales and service support from A.T.E. for the Dechang compact spinning system.
