Textiles and Digital Infrastructure drive growth amid strong institutional demand.

Mafatlal Industries Limited, the flagship company of the Arvind Mafatlal Group, reported a 24.6% year-on-year (YoY) increase in revenue from its core businesses, Textiles & Related Products and Digital Infrastructure, to Rs 5.40 billion in Q2 FY27. For the first half of FY27, revenue from these segments rose 19.8% to Rs 9.88 billion, supported by institutional demand and project execution.

The company reported overall revenue from operations of Rs 7.94 billion during the quarter, with EBITDA of Rs 213 million and profit before tax (PBT) of Rs 148 million. For H1 FY27, revenue stood at Rs 17.37 billion, EBITDA at Rs 470 million and PBT at Rs 344 million.

The Textiles & Related Products segment recorded revenue of Rs 4.70 billion in Q2 FY27, registering 12.4% YoY growth. Performance was driven by the company’s shift towards integrated Uniform Solutions, including the execution of a major Telangana order covering approximately 28,000 schools across 33 districts.

The Digital Infrastructure business recorded revenue of Rs 703 million, reflecting a 344.1% YoY increase. Segment EBIT grew 201.7% to Rs 97 million, with an EBIT margin of 13.8%. Growth was supported by institutional projects, including the establishment of 128 ICT laboratories in Odisha and other turnkey engagements involving operation and maintenance services extending up to five years.

Together, Textiles & Related Products and Digital Infrastructure contributed 68% of quarterly revenue and 82.6% of segment EBIT, highlighting the increasing importance of these businesses within the company’s portfolio.

Priyavrata Mafatlal, Managing Director and CEO, Mafatlal Industries Limited, emphasised the company’s focus on strengthening its business portfolio through integrated Uniform Solutions and Digital Infrastructure while maintaining operational discipline and pursuing sustainable long-term growth.

As of 30 September 2026, the company’s running order book stood at approximately Rs 5.75 billion, comprising Rs 4.62 billion from Textiles & Related Products, Rs 870 million from Digital Infrastructure and Rs 260 million from Consumer Durables and other businesses.

The board also approved the acquisition of an additional 20% stake in Pieflowtech Solutions Private Limited, which will increase Mafatlal Industries’ shareholding to 80%. The transaction is expected to be completed by 31 December 2026.

Additionally, the company announced an interim dividend of Rs 1 per equity share for FY27. Gross debt increased to Rs 832 million as of September 2026, compared with Rs 608 million in March 2026, reflecting higher working capital requirements associated with institutional order execution.

Mafatlal Industries continues to prioritise its core businesses, strengthen institutional partnerships and pursue operational efficiencies to support long-term growth.
