BSL unveils GOS 2.0 to boost global sourcing partnerships.

The Brands & Sourcing Leaders Association (BSL) has announced the Global Outreach Summit (GOS) 2.0, scheduled to take place from April 28–30, 2026, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. The announcement was made by the association’s senior leadership during a high-level press conference.

The summit aims to bring together global and domestic apparel and lifestyle brands, sourcing leaders, retailers, manufacturers, investors, and policymakers to strengthen international sourcing collaborations and structured trade partnerships. The initiative aligns with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to promote India’s manufacturing capabilities globally and position “Made in India” products in international markets.

Positioning itself as an accelerator in the evolving global trade ecosystem, BSL has outlined a strategic roadmap targeting ₹18,000 crore (approximately USD 2 billion) in business facilitation between FY 2026 and FY 2028 within the apparel and lifestyle sector. Addressing the media, Raman Dutta, Chairman, BSL, said: “Global Outreach Summit 2.0 is about turning intent into execution. Our ₹18,000 crore target reflects strong global confidence in India’s apparel and textile ecosystem.”

The three-day event is expected to host more than 3,000 international and Indian delegates, over 2,000 textile and lifestyle industry experts, 200 global and domestic brands, and more than 100 speakers from regions including Europe, the US, the UK, the Middle East, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Canada.

Key highlights include Accelerator Dialogues focused on policy, sourcing, digital transformation, and sustainability, alongside Catalyst Sessions featuring global brand leaders and industry case studies. The summit will also showcase BSL’s “Panch Pahal” initiative covering sustainability, automation and digitalisation, sportswear and athleisure, design and innovation, and brand globalisation.

Additional features include panel discussions, CEO roundtables, buyer–seller meetings, curated fashion showcases, and the BSL Global Outreach Awards recognising excellence in leadership, innovation, and sustainability across the textile and lifestyle sectors.
