Validation aligns PDS’s climate goals with Paris Agreement pathways.

PDS Limited, a global fashion supply chain solutions company, has strengthened its sustainability credentials after the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) validated its net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions targets for FY2050. The validation confirms that the company’s climate commitments are aligned with science-based pathways required to limit global warming in line with the Paris Agreement.

The approval reinforces PDS’s long-term strategy to embed sustainability across its global operations and value chain while accelerating climate action in collaboration with customers, suppliers and industry stakeholders. By leveraging data-driven insights and globally recognised methodologies, the company aims to build a low-carbon and resilient supply chain.

Under its validated commitments, PDS has pledged to reduce absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 42 per cent by FY2030, alongside a 25 per cent reduction in absolute Scope 3 emissions within the same timeframe. The company has also committed to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its entire value chain by FY2050.

Commenting on the milestone, Sanjay Jain, Group CEO, PDS Limited, said, “Securing SBTi approval is a significant milestone that reinforces our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint through structured, data-driven action across our value chain. We remain focused on achieving net-zero by FY2050 and driving meaningful, science-backed climate impact across our operations and the broader ecosystem.”

Paul Wright, Group ESG Director, PDS Limited, added, “Our targets are grounded in data, global best practices, and a clear roadmap to reduce emissions meaningfully across Scopes 1, 2, and 3. Achieving these goals requires deep collaboration with our partners and sustained investment in low-carbon solutions.”

PDS currently tracks and monitors Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions across its owned manufacturing facilities and major office locations. Its emission-reduction initiatives include the adoption of solar energy systems, mangrove restoration projects, increased use of recycled fabrics and other sustainability-led interventions. The company’s approved near- and long-term targets will be published on the SBTi website in line with the initiative’s guidelines.
