Around 70 exhibitors to present innovations across textile machinery value chain.

Nearly 70 VDMA member companies will participate in ITMA ASIA + CITME, scheduled at the end of October in Singapore. Exhibitors will cover the full textile machinery spectrum, including spinning, man-made fibres, nonwovens, weaving, braiding, knitting, warp knitting, finishing, dyeing, textile recycling, and processing of recycled materials.

VDMA has also initiated a German Pavilion with two group stands – spinning (Hall 4) and finishing (Hall 7) – hosting 30 exhibitors.

“The key focus areas for VDMA members are efficiency, automation, digitalisation and sustainability. Customers can rely on our members for innovative and sustainable solutions with low environmental impact and high-quality European machinery,” said Dr Janpeter Horn, Chairman of the VDMA Textile Machinery Association and Managing Director, August Herzog Maschinenfabrik.

Dr Harald Weber, Managing Director of VDMA Textile Machinery, added, “We are delighted to return to Singapore after 20 years. With its central location and excellent connectivity, Singapore is the perfect hub for reaching customers from Asia – the world’s fastest-growing textile and garment production region.”

Asia remains the most important market for German textile machinery, accounting for nearly half of its exports. Despite a decline in exports to Asia in 2024, shipments stabilised in the first half of 2025, with China, Uzbekistan, and Pakistan recording encouraging growth.
