Invisi Grille by Garware Sets New Global Benchmark for High-Rise Safety

With over 1,000 new high-rise projects annually in urban centres, the demand for safe, aesthetically pleasing solutions is rising.

Garware Technical Fibres (GTFL), a global leader in technical textiles, unveiled Invisi Grille, India’s first engineered invisible safety grille. This innovation formalises the country’s largely unorganised invisible grille market, delivering internationally certified safety solutions for modern high-rise residential projects, while reinforcing India’s Make in India vision.

With over 1,000 new high-rise projects annually in urban centres, the demand for safe, aesthetically pleasing solutions is rising. Traditional invisible grilles often compromise on breaking strength, aesthetics, and fire evacuation safety, relying on steel wires that can pose serious risks. GTFL’s Invisi Grille, designed with a proprietary synthetic polymer core, addresses these shortcomings by offering superior strength, rust-free performance, weather resistance, and emergency-escape-friendly design.

The grille is nearly invisible, providing uninterrupted panoramic views while ensuring double the strength of conventional grilles. It is lightweight, UV-resistant, corrosion-free, quick to install, and low-maintenance, making it ideal for children, pets, and families.

Shujaul Rehman, CEO, GTFL, said, “Invisi Grille marks a strategic milestone in India’s journey toward self-reliance in technical textiles. We are introducing a world-class solution engineered in India that meets global safety benchmarks.”

Sarabjit Singh Khurana, President – Domestic Business, GTFL, added, “The current market is flooded with low-quality products that compromise safety during emergencies. Invisi Grille offers a reliable, durable, and elegant alternative, setting new standards for high-rise living.”

Engineered entirely in India, Invisi Grille is available across urban and premium residential projects in 2.5 mm and 3.0 mm thicknesses, in Grey, White, and Black, with custom options. The 3 mm variant offers a breaking strength of 400 kgf and can withstand dynamic impact loads of up to 600 Joules, combining durability, safety, and design excellence for modern homes.
