Mentogram, a Singapore-based ed-tech innovator, and the Department of Fibres & Textile Processing Technology at the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai, have announced a strategic collaboration aimed at co-designing, developing, and delivering cutting-edge, industry-relevant short-term education programs.

This partnership brings together Mentogram’s expertise in digital learning delivery and ICT Mumbai’s academic excellence and deep-rooted industry connections in textile and fibre processing. The joint initiative is designed to bridge the skill gap in the textile sector by offering practical, application-oriented programs tailored for working professionals, young engineers, and industry newcomers.

Speaking on the collaboration, Prof Parag Gogate, Dean of Academic Programs and Prof Ashok Athalye, Head of the Department of Fibres & Textile Processing Technology at ICT Mumbai, said, “We are delighted to partner with Mentogram to expand the reach and impact of our academic resources. Dr Hasit Dangi, Founder & CEO of Mentogram, India and Co-founder of Mentogram, Singapore added, “ICT Mumbai is a globally respected institution, and this collaboration aligns with our mission to empower learners with practical skills and knowledge that directly enhance industry performance. Together, we will co-create agile, scalable, and impactful learning experiences.”

The upcoming programs will cover specialized topics in sustainable textile processing, advanced fibre technologies, innovation management, and digital tools in textile manufacturing. The courses will be delivered by renowned professors and textile industry leaders at the Department of Fibres & Textile Processing Technology in ICT, Mumbai.

This initiative is part of a broader vision to integrate academia-industry collaboration with next-generation education delivery platforms, ensuring that professionals in the textile domain remain at the forefront of innovation and global competitiveness.
