Today, with more than 2,000 textile machines installed, Strayfield stands as the authority on the application of RF technology to the textile industry.

In 1975, Strayfield installed its first radio frequency (RF) dryer in a textile factory in north England. This pioneering installation heralded an irreversible change in the way the world’s textile industry was to dry its yarns. Today, with more than 2,000 textile machines installed, Strayfield stands as the authority on the application of RF technology to the textile industry. The Strayfield conveyorised dryer has served the industry well for all these years. A strict company policy that dictates total commitment to quality has ensured that the majority of the original dryers are still operational. Recently, with the co-operation of the major user of RF equipment in the sewing thread industry, the company introduced the first of its ‘new generation’ drying systems into the marketplace.
