Trident wins CITI award for sustainability

Trident Limited, a leading manufacturer and exporter of textiles, has bagged the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) Award for Excellence in energy conservation. The award along with a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh was conferred by the board of trustees of CITI’s Birla Economic and Textile Research Foundation at a function held recently in Mumbai.
The award is given in recognition of the company’s efforts to continuously improve energy efficiency thereby supporting India’s journey towards climate change mitigation and sustainable development. Trident Limited is the flagship company of $1 billion Punjab-based Trident Group, Indian business conglomerate and a global player.
