Almost 400 international exhibitors are expected at the next Apparel Sourcing Paris trade fair, which will take place from Monday 14 to Thursday 17 September 2015. This represents a record since the fair was launched in September 2011 and an increase in excess of 40% over September 2014, when the event welcomed 289 exhibitors.

Michael Scherpe, CEO of Messe Frankfurt France, confirmed: “This growth shows that the event has established itself as the No.1 European trade fair for global garment sourcing. We have adopted the correct strategy for its development and are continuing to broaden its offer, which always puts an international range on show..”

The ninth Apparel Sourcing Paris fair will include almost 90 new exhibitors from all points of the compass. Visitors will be able to benefit from a very varied, high-quality offer, from entry level to top of the range, covering all ready-to-wear for women, men and children, and accessories too.

Every aspect of fashion will be represented: knits, unstructured garments, casualwear, sportswear, denim, shirting, outerwear, evening wear, loun- gewear, businesswear, swimwear and corporate clothing. The accessories segment, a developmental focus of the fair, will also welcome bags, gloves, ties and scarves. Numerous solutions to the particular issues/ problems of the European market, which always attract strong interest from exhibitors because of the recovery, will also be highlighted.

The Textiles Export Promotion Council Cotton (Texprocil) has been working hard to promote Indian exports since its inception in 1954. On this occasion, Texprocil is concentrating on creative, high-performance Indian participants at Apparel sourcing Paris and accompanying twelve (12) companies, of which eleven (11) have attended in the past: Anjali Creations, BBK, Chinar Softech, Indkraft, K M Inc, Kishorilal, Mangalam, Meenakshi, Mint Impex, Rashish Enterprises, Seven Seas and Silk Appeal.

Accessories, mainly scarves and stoles, have pride of place, represented by the leading exponents of these Indian skills: Anjali Creations, BBK, Chinar Softech, Indkraft, Kishorilal, Mangalam, Seven Seas and Silk Appeal. They will present collections in luxury materials such as cashmeer, merino wool and silk for items destined for the top of the range, and items in natural materials such as cotton, wool, linen and bamboo, and man-made fibres for the mid-range and entry-level markets.
