SSM GIUDICI concluded a larger order of 23 machines (3,000 spindles) with one of the world´s most recognised manufacturer of high quality polyamide yarns. The fast growing synthetic fibre market requires reliable high quality processing machines. One of the world´s most recognised manufacturer of high quality polyamide yarns has read the signs and is investing in new machines to increase their capacity.

SSM GIUDICI will deliver a total of twenty TG30-A automatic false-twist texturing machines, one TG30-AE automatic false-twist texturing machine with integrated elastomer unrolling device and one RG12-DTB automatic false-twist texturing machine for coarse yarn counts.

The machines combine a proven straight texturing zone through the entire texturing zone for the production of fine and medium count false-twist textured Polyamide and Polypropylene yarns, a low machine profile for user friendly and efficient operation and a sturdy design resulting in low maintenance cost.

One SSM DP5-T DIGICONE-« fastflex´ air texturing machine completes the order. The well-known DP5-T is designed for the flexible production of high quality air jet textured yarns. All types of continuous filament yarns (PES, PA, PP, Glass, etc.) can be processed to a large range of yarns for a wide variety of applications such as apparel, automotive, home furnishing, sewing threads and technical yarns.

The machines will be supplied in five stages and by the end of 2016 all twenty-three machines (3,000 spindles) will be in full operation.

At the same time, SSM was at ITMA ASIA.
Five new product launches and a total of six machines were exhibited. A brand new SSM machine type was also showed for the first time.
SSM successfully participated recently at the ITMA Asia in Shanghai. The Swiss-based SSM Scharer Schweiter Mettler AG, the inventor of the electronic yarn traverse system, will continue its tradition of trend-setting with the presentation of breakthrough technologies. With five new market introductions in Asia and a number of innovations and applications for their well-known product range, SSM exhibited a total of six machines.

Machines of the following applications were on display:

  • Dyeing/rewinding
  • Air texturing
  • False twist texturing
  • Sewing thread finish winding

For the first time in China, the SSM TW2plus-W was shown. The TW2plus-W is a precision package winder for dye packages and rewinding operations. The electronic fastflex yarn laying technology allows a high flexibility to produce a made-t0-measure cross wound package. The ergonomic design and enduring technology cuts maintenance and service expenses down to a minimum.

From SSM GIUDICI comes the brand new TG1-FT manual false-twist texturing machine. It combines a proven texturing path along with a spacing saving machine design. The result is a machine for the cost efficient production of high quality Polyamide, Polypropylene as well as fine count polyester yarns. In combination with the SSM GIUDICI TG1-FT, the TG1-AT was shown as well.

The manual SSM GIUDICI TG1-AT air texturing machine is designed for the cost efficient production of high quality air texturing yarns made of POY or FDY polyester, polyamide and polypropylene and ranging from fine to medium final counts. The SSM Tk2-20 CT/KT was exhibited for sewing thread finish winding. It sets new markets standards in combining the established performance of the well-known Thread King series with the functionality and operational comfort of modern control and drive technology. The TK2-20 stands for first-class unwinding properties and fulfils the highest yarn processing requirements.

With the presentation of two another brand new SSM textile machines, the showed product range was completed. More details of SSM latest developments were be provided during the exhibition in Shanghai.
