DHL Global Forwarding appoints new Director

DHL Global Forwarding has announced the appointment of Rajiv Sharma as the new Director, Industrial Projects, India with immediate effect. Rajiv will be reporting directly to Samar Nath, CEO DHL Global Forwarding, India. Sharma joins DHL from Geodis Overseas Pvt. Ltd where he worked as Director-Industrial Project, responsible for developing and managing Industrial Projects for India.

Speaking about Sharma´s appointment, Nath said, ´Industrial Projects is a focus area for us, requiring strategic skills and experience. Rajiv with his extensive field experience is sure to successfully steer the wave forward.´

Sharma is a Science Graduate with Masters in Business Administration and has an overall experience of 21 years with Welspun, Emirates, etc. In his new role, he will be responsible for managing, controlling and developing the Industrial Project business activities in India.
