Greg Foran joins Walmart China

Greg Foran will replace Scott Price as the new chief executive for Walmart China. Price is named as executive vice president for international strategy and will handle a wide range of global operations including development, real estate and mergers and acquisition. Foran is a 30-year retail veteran with a wealth of knowledge of marketing, operational and executive roles. He was named president and CEO of Walmart China in 2012. Prior to joining Walmart in 2011 as a senior vice president for Walmart International, Greg held a number of roles with Woolworths in Australia and New Zealand, most recently serving as director of supermarkets, liquor and petrol. Prior to his role as director of supermarkets, Foran also served as general manager of Big W, Woolworth´s deep discount store and general manager of Dick Smith Electronics.
