Discussions among entrepreneurs in the textile industry have focused on stabilising the industry and lowering freight and cotton prices. According to Indian Texpreneurs Federation, the event’s organisers, some 120 managing directors of spinning mills participated in an interactive session here and talked about a range of topics, including cotton costs and freight rates.

Sharing productivity benchmark data, cost-cutting strategies, and best practises to follow on a regular basis to improve production were some of the important topics covered.

Participating organisations included the Andhra Pradesh Textile Mills Association, Telangana Spinning and Textile Mills Association, Spinners Association, Gujarat, and ITF.

Market trends and quality parameters, yarn and fabric market intelligence regarding domestic and foreign markets were also discussed.

Research on local and international “textile and fashion” trends, as well as the exploration and sharing of expertise to enhance the spinning industry, were also covered at the meeting.
