Grasim Industries, Nagda bagged the 14th Golden Peacock Awards 2019 for CSR in the Textile & Apparel sector, for the project “Integrated Rural Development”.

The Gulf Cooperation Council’s (GCC) technical committee for chemical and textile products submitted 70 draft standards on chemical and textile products to the secretariat general of the GCC Standardisation Organisation (GSO) during its 25th meeting held recently.

Oerlikon’s German-based business unit Oerlikon Nonwoven has now executed legal and commercial arrangements to supply the specialised machinery which can manufacture the nonwoven material locally.

The first initiative is to organise guaranteed supplies and build resilient value chains in Europe for critical PPE and other textile products to avoid an impact of this magnitude in the future.
