With a simple ceremony, mega ITME opens

In a simple ceremony of lighting, all the stalwarts of textile machinery industry including the heads of textile giants like Sanjay Jayavarthanavelu, CMD, LMW; GT Demla, CMD, Precitex; Anuj Bhagwati, MD, ATE Enterprises and veterans who have seen many more ITMEs flagged off the grand beginning of the 10th edition of ITME 2016 at the BEC grounds in Goregaon, Mumbai.

The first impression one gets from the activities is that all is well with the industry, and is ready for he next battle to corner a bigger share in the market. Next is that everyone had kudos for the India-ITME Society, which has done a commendable job  in making excellent arrangements with halls and stalls in proper place. One should understand this perspective from the fact that only limited space has been available at the BEC grounds.

Technology for the textile industry seems to have come the full cycle, following ITMA Milano last year and ITMA Asia only a month ago. All the latest machinery and accessories are on display, and as is the usual case, Hall 1 takes full importance with spinning playing the lead role. Other emerging technologies in processing and digital printing are also not ignored, but given their due place of importance.

With 5 more days to go, the machinery industry, unfazed by the fluctuations in the fortunes of textile industry, is anxiously waiting for the visitors flow to swell into a flood!
