Weavetechs HPW & SPW series Precision Winders are for the production of dye packages for pre & post dyeing processes for use in Weaving, Knitting and other operations including plying.

SPW-series: Compared to traditional Random Winding, SPW offers precision winding with Anti-Patterning & Edge-breaking thus resulting in a more layered & even package density of soft packages which undergo dyeing process. Such quality requirements force the producer to demand characteristics which the SPW delivers.

HPW-series: Final yarn packages, post-dyeing, needs to be transferred to stable Cheese Packages for downstream use where high speed unwinding might be required. The HPW Precision Winding system coupled with high-pressure cradle delivers excellent high-density stable packages easy for unwinding & transportation.

Highlights for HPW & SPW

  • Split Control provides versatility & saves operating costs over small lots.
  • Complete Ceramic Yarn Path for smooth handling of Filament Yarns.
  • Sturdy Cradle of low-weight aluminium die-cast helps in accurate Tensioning.
  • Auto-Pressure Adjustment & Vibration Damping system on every Cradle.
  • HPW-Traverse system is Individual Bi-Conical adjustable in 4-steps.
  • Anti-Patterning & Edge-Breaking is avoided by Cyclic Traverse Speed & Length Variations.
  • Motorised Edge-Breaking adjusted via speed control drive provides versatility for yarns.
  • Motorised Fluted Oil Roller with Auto Feed for Uniform Application.

Additional Highlights for SPW

  • PosiFEED overfeed system ensures constant yarn feeding to maintain take-up tension.
  • Separate Programmable drives for Traverse, Take-Up & Overfeed ensures flexibility.
  • Advance PLC system allows storage & retrieval of all parameters from a memory card.
  • Touch-Screen programming allows setup of Crossing-Angle & Overfeed Ratios.

Traverse System: Precision CAM Traverse System with anti-patterning movements and high CPMs ensures optimum stability at high yarn speeds.

Tensioner System: Pre-tensioner & Adjustable Gate-Type setable Tensioners to accommodate wide variety of yarns on the system.

PosiFEED System: Individual belt drive for each position guarantees precise ratio with no RPM variations & offers consistent overfeeding for even package density.
