Vijay Textiles? revenue rise 66% in Q1FY18

The net profit of Vijay Textiles jumped 245 per cent to Rs 1.72 crore in the first quarter of fiscal 2018 as against Rs 0.49 crore in the first quarter of fiscal 2017. The company?s total revenue rose 66.54 per cent amounting to Rs 40.94 crore in the first quarter of fiscal 2018 compared to Rs 24.58 crore in the first quarter of fiscal 2017.

?We are seeing an enhanced demand across segments and geographies. We expect the momentum to continue on account of new product launches and better orders for organised players like us on account of GST implementation,? said Vijay Kumar Gupta, Vijay Textiles? Chairman and Managing Director said.

The leading fabric manufacturing company has established its brand name in the major domestic market creating a strong sales network for its brand of products. It manufacturers varied products within bed linens, curtain fabrics, share and linen embroideries. Its manufacturing unit includes state-of-the-art automated embroidery machines imported from Japan.
