Tianhai Lace?s new skin-friendly collection

Tianhai Lace, Chinese warp knitted lace manufacturer?s new lace collection for intimate apparel has been endorsed skin friendly by Hohenstein Institute after carrying out its skin compatibility test on randomly selected samples from the collection to confirm that no cytotoxic substances leach out of the sample materials.
Hohenstein?s skin compatibility test is adapted, in the case of products worn close to the skin, to test for interaction with living skin cells. Samples undergo a thorough evaluation to determine whether skin cells are damaged by contact in a way that could result in skin irritation. A selection of Tianhai lace was analysed and found to be non-toxic to skin cells. It can therefore be promoted as skin-friendly.
Consequently, being awarded the skin friendly declaration not only increases product and consumer safety but also enables a company to benefit from the high recognition rate of Hohenstein?s tested quality, the Institute stated.
