In a notable initiative aimed at nurturing future talents in the textile industry, The Yarn Bazaar (TYB) in India has partnered with DKTE’s Textile and Engineering Institute (DKTE), an Empowered Autonomous Institute, through a memorandum of understanding (MoU). The historic agreement was executed by Professor Dr LS Admuthe, In-Charge Director of DKTE, and Pratik Gadia, Founder and CEO, TYB.

The collaboration signifies a significant move towards ensuring that students in DKTE’s textile engineering program are provided with outstanding internship opportunities, thereby promoting their growth and development in the dynamic field of textiles. The MoU was also witnessed by Professor Dr SU Awade, Honorary Secretary, DKTE Society; Professor Dr UJ Patil, Deputy Director and Head of Textiles; Professor Dr SB Mhetre; Professor Dr VK Dhange, and SB Akiwate, the Training and Placement Officer – Textiles. According to DKTE’s LinkedIn post, this agreement reflects a commitment to collaborative innovation and skill enhancement in the textile sector.

As per the terms of the MoU, TYB will offer comprehensive support to textile students for both winter and summer internships. This initiative is part of a broader vision to establish similar collaborations with other textile institutes, thereby expanding the range of opportunities available for emerging professionals in the textile industry.
