The updated portal will now cater to a wider range of textile industries, including silk, handloom, and technical textiles.

The Maharashtra government has announced an expansion of its e-textile portal, aiming to accelerate digital transformation in the state’s textile sector. The initiative is expected to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accessibility for industry stakeholders.

The updated portal will now cater to a wider range of textile industries, including silk, handloom, and technical textiles. By streamlining the grant application process, the platform is designed to provide businesses with a seamless experience in accessing subsidies and industry-related information. This move aligns with the government’s broader efforts to digitise the textile sector and improve operational effectiveness.

As part of this initiative, the Maharashtra Department of Textiles is positioning the e-textile portal as a comprehensive resource for industry participants. The platform will serve as a centralised hub for businesses, facilitating faster processing of applications and offering valuable insights into the sector. The expansion is expected to contribute to the overall growth of Maharashtra’s textile industry by simplifying processes and making essential resources more readily available.

By leveraging digital tools, the government aims to create a more structured and efficient system, benefiting textile businesses across the state. The latest updates reinforce Maharashtra’s commitment to modernising the sector and fostering sustainable development through technology-driven solutions.
