Textile industry exhibits machinery innovations at ITMACH 2024

The expo gave the opportunity for better networking, improved interaction and knowledge sharing.

The 4th International Textile Machinery & Accessories (ITMACH) Exhibition was held from February 21-24, 2024 at the Helipad Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar. The expo gave the opportunity for better networking, improved interaction and knowledge sharing. It showcased the latest technologies in the textile machinery sector. ITMACH India also helped its exhibitors and visitors discover new markets, sellers and buyers. The exhibition also helped in gaining intelligence about peers, the competition and the industry at large. It provided the opportunity to meet technical experts, technology gurus, industry professionals, policy makers and thought leaders.

With a participation of more than 10 countries in 3 highly successful shows over 6 years, ITMACH has been a major stimulant to the growth of India’s Textile industry. India today is the 2nd largest manufacturer and exporter in the world for cotton & cotton yarn.

ITMACH India is held in Gandhinagar, the capital of Gujarat. Gujarat is a major textile hub of India. Gujarat accounts for 30 per cent of India’s exports in cotton fabrics and made-ups, 37 per cent of India’s cotton produce and 60 per cent of India’s cotton export in terms of value. Gujarat also produces 50 per cent of India’s man-made fibre. It is the largest producer of synthetic fabric in India and accounts for 30 per cent of India’s woven fabric. 90 per cent of weaving machinery manufacturers are established in Gujarat and it produces 25 per cent of India’s technical textile output.
