Texfair 2016 to be held in May

The Southern India Mills’ Association (SIMA) representing the organised textile industry in South India is organising SIMA Texfair 2016, 10th edition in its series during May 20-23, 2016 at CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex, Coimbatore. SIMA has so far successfully conducted nine exhibitions of textile machinery, spares & accessories since 2001. The previous fairs had overwhelming response and based on the request made by the stakeholders of the event right from textile machinery, spares, accessories and the different sectors of the industry, the association has decided to conduct the event during May 2016 to enable the suppliers and the users to plan their investments and renew their business.

The objectives of the fair is to provide a platform for the stakeholder to zero in their investments and expenses prudently, showcase their inventions and cost effective items and other products, enable the technocrats and shop-floor technicians to update their knowledge on the latest technology and create an awareness on cost cutting, to encourage micro, small and medium entrepreneurs also to showcase their products and get exposure to the market. It is a highly economical fair with excellent services, organised by the user industry, venued at Coimbatore, the Manchester of South India which is the hub for textile business in India and the fair would be an ideal platform to showcase and market the products.

The Association has formally commenced the stall booking with effect from December 22, 2015 and the initial response is overwhelming. As part of the events, national seminars of interests to the textile industry will be conducted. SIMA appeal to all the exhibitors to extend their valuable support and cooperation to make the event a grand success and internationally memorable one.

All manufacturers and suppliers of textile machinery and spares of ginning, spinning, weaving, processing, powerlooms, handlooms, knitting and garmenting, textile testing equipment, items relating to effluent treatment, auxiliary equipment, accessories, pneumatic equipment & accessories, humidification plant and accessories, lubricants, energy saving equipment, electrical and electronic items, sizing materials, dyes and chemicals, packaging materials, textile software companies, etc.
