The latest edition of Intertextile Pavilion at the Shenzhen International Trade Fair for Apparel Fabrics and Accessories will be held from 9 – 11 July 2015 at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center in halls 6, 7 and 9. The fair is set to take advantage of the strong economy in Guangdong Province and proximity to a number of nearby textile manufacturing hubs.

Around 580 domestic and international suppliers of high-quality ladieswear, casual wear and suiting fabrics, as well as the latest knits, lace and embroidery, yarns and fibres, and accessories will take part.

According to Wendy Wen, Senior General Manager of fair co-organiser Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, explained: “There are a lot of opportunities for both exhibitors and visitors to take advantage of that they wouldn’t necessarily receive in other cities in China. Guangdong Province produced around five billion units of clothing in 2014, one-fifth of the country’s total, creating a lot of possibilities for fabrics and accessories producers at the fair. Furthermore, Shenzhen is the main city in China for ladieswear design and manufacturing, which is a big focus at this fair. Plus, Hong Kong is located within easy commuting distance of Shenzhen, and will attract buyers from a number of international fashion brands that have buying offices in the city.” Three country and region pavilions reflect strong demand from overseas exhibitors

Given the strong potential in the Southern Chinese market, a lot of interest has been received from overseas and domestic suppliers. To date, three pavilions are confirmed to feature including the Korea Pavilion organised by the Korea Fashion Textile Association (KFTA) and Daegu Gyeongbuk Textile Industry Association (DGIA), as well as the Taiwan Pavilion organised by the Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF), and the Shengze Pavilion from China.

Returning for the sixth year, the Korea Pavilion will showcase jacquard, nylon, functional woven fabrics, cotton / rayon / nylon / poly mixed woven fabrics, embossing as well as spandex. Korean fabrics are well-known throughout the region for reflecting current trends and for their high quality, and strong demand and successful results in the past have attracted the organisers to continue their participation again this year.

Participants of Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen are able to benefit from two concurrent events also taking place at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. These are the 15th China (Shenzhen) International Brand Clothing & Accessories Fair in halls 1 – 4, a fashion garment event, and a fashion show in hall 5. Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen is organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd; the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT; and the Shenzhen Garment Industry Association.
