Frankfurt, 31 May 2017 – The Walter Reiners-Stiftung (Foundation) of the VDMA Textile Machinery honoured five junior engineers at the trade fair Techtextil, which took place at the beginning of May in Frankfurt.

Innovation in the textile machinery industry is the launch pad for intelligent applications; For example, industry textiles which are replacing conventional materials. In transportation, they are making aircrafts and cars more lightweight, thus enabling huge energy savings; Or nonwovens with better environmental friendliness used for the production of wipes.

VDMA member companies are extremely satisfied with ITMA 2015 in Milan. About 96 per cent stated that both the quantity and the quality of visitors to their booths were good to very good. Nearly 87 per cent evaluate the prospects for post exhibition business to be good to very good.
