In India, currently, digital printing has a 25 per cent growth rate and is expected to continue growing at a steady pace. “There is a growing demand for printed clothing and we have seen an increase in the use of digital textile printers”, says Vasudevan, DGM – Commercial and Industrial Products, Epson India Pvt Ltd, while speaking to the ITJ.

Globally, the digital textile printing market was valued at $1,245 million in 2015. It is estimated to reach $3,943 million by 2022, registering a CAGR of 17.9 per cent between 2016 and 2022.
