The members of Surat-based textile associations met the city police commissioner to request for relaxation in the lockdown measures. The state has extended the lockdown restrictions till May 12 to contain the spread of corona virus.
GCCI members and other textile traders have requested the CM to announce a seven-day lockdown to break the chain and control the second COVID wave better. Gujarat CM appreciates their efforts.
