61% rise in Nandan Denim’s net profit

India’s largest denim fabric manufacturer, Nandan Denim Limited (NDL), has reported a net profit of Rs 13.93 crore for the Q3 of FY 2017-18 as against Rs 8.63 crore in the corresponding period of 2016-17, a rise of 61 per cent.

Work apace on Nandan Terry’s Rs 500-cr unit

Diversified textile player Chiripal Group is setting up a Rs 500-crore terry towel facility in Ahmedabad district with an initial capacity of 10,696 tonne per annum. Nandan Terry Pvt Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary, will begin commercial production in December, a top company official said.

Nandan Denim to expand capacity

Denim fabric maker Nandan Denim expects to increase its production capacity to 110 million metres per annum by the next quarter. Nandan Denim Ltd (NDL) has a denim production capacity of 71 million metres per annum, at present. “We are expanding our capacity further to reach 110 million metres by Q1 of FY17 to become the country’s largest denim producer,” Nandam Denim President Govind Sharda said.
