Speciality chemicals company LANXESS has successfully completed a debottlenecking project resulting in a 15 per cent increase in global production capacity of its Additin RC 4000 series of corrosion inhibition additives.
The LANXESS High Performance Materials business unit is also investing in its global production network for high performance plastics, and is building a further compounding plant at its Krefeld-Uerdingen site.
The Board of Management of speciality chemicals company LANXESS decided to make use of the authorisation granted by the Stockholders’ Meeting on May 20, 2016 and to acquire own shares of up to EUR 200 million (excluding incidental costs) via the stock exchange.
LANXESS is represented through all its 10 business units, operating out of its registered office in Thane and sales offices in New Delhi and Chennai.
LANXESS’ Urethane Systems business unit (URE) decided to prolong and extend its collaboration with the Center for UMass/Industry Research on Polymers (CUMIRP) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, USA.
