Karl Mayer will showcase warp-knitted textiles having exceptional level of performance at Techtextil 2019. Textiles with excellent performance and lower manufacturing costs can be produced by combining possibilities of additive production with warp knitting technology. Examples include warp knits functionalised by 3D printing.

Karl Mayer, Rabatex Industries and A.T.E. have signed a contract for setting up a joint venture. The legally independent company is called Karl Mayer Textile Machinery India Private Limited, has its registered office in Mumbai and production facility in Ahmedabad.

Textiles can be used for heating, cooling and lighting. They can measure the heart rate, as well as monitor soil erosion on slopes, and can even be launched into space for use as space reflectors – as long as they are electrically conductive.

The new warp knitting machine with weft-insertion facility from Karl Mayer bears all the hallmarks of the high-end version in terms of its quality and reliability.

KARL MAYER is demonstrating that it is even closer to its markets, and is increasingly participating in trade fairs that focus on applications and end-uses.

At the upcoming JEC World taking place from March 12 to 14, 2019 in Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center, KARL MAYER Technische Textilien will be showing innovative solutions for producing high-quality reinforcement textiles.

A well attended in-house event was held in Changzhou in China recently to launch KARL MAYER’s new warp knitting machine with weft insertion.
