According to data compiled by ACIMIT, the Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers, the order index for textile machinery during the period from April to June rose by 26 per cent compared to the same period in 2016.

For the second consecutive year, ACIMIT, in partnership with the Italian Trade Agency, has organised a collective venture at Irantex, the primary trade fair for the Iranian textile and textile machinery sector, to be held in Tehran from 4 – 7 September 2017.
Data for Italian textile machinery exports, updated to the first nine months of 2016, confirm a positive trend, with a 3 per cent increase compared to the same period of 2015.
At the upcoming edition of Colombiatex, to be held in Medellin, Colombia from January 24 to 26, 2017, Italian textile machinery manufacturers are once more expected to stand out, with 20 industry leaders exhibiting in the common area set up by the Italian Trade Agency and ACIMIT.
