In work environments exposed to heat, there is a risk of scalding or heat stroke for the worker. The aim of the HEATex research project is to enable workers to stay longer in heat-exposed environments.

In a heat-exposed working environment there is a risk of scalding and heat stroke for the employee. The heat protection textile developed as part of the HEATex research project is used here as underwear.

In 1996, the embroidery company Brands Polska sp. z.o.o. in the village of Somonino, near Gdansk in Poland was founded and continuously expanded with new finishing techniques. In 2002, Brands Fashion GmbH was founded as a textile trade and service company in the town of Buchholz in Lower Saxony, Germany with an extensive network of suppliers in Europe, Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia and Pakistan.
