Global yarn production increased by +17 per cent between Q4/18 and Q1/19. Higher output levels where observed in Asia (+18 per cent), Brazil (+18 per cent), the USA (+3.2 per cent) and Europe (+1.6 per cent).

Global yarn stocks were stable between Q3/17 and Q4/17. A reduction in Brazil (-11 per cent), Egypt (-9 per cent), and Europe (-4 per cent) was cancelled out by a 3 per cent increase in Asia.

Global yarn production decreased by -0.4 per cent between Q2/17 and Q3/17. An output reduction of respectively -3 per cent and -0.5 per cent in Europe and Asia have been balanced at the world level by increases of 0.5 per cent in Africa, 4.8 per cent in the USA, and 6.5 per cent in Brazil.

The yarn output improved in Asia, Africa, and Brazil while it was stable in the USA and Europe. The global yarn production improved in Q2/2017. It increased in Asia, Europe, and Brazil and slightly declined in the USA.

The global yarn production improved in Q1/2017 quarter-on-quarter. Thereby, output in Asia, North America and South America improved, and it declined slightly in Europe.

The global yarn production increased in Q3/2016 quarter-on-quarter. Thereby, output in Asia and South America rose. In Europe and the USA the yarn production fell. On an annual basis, the global yarn production in Q3/2016 increased versus Q3/2015. Global yarn stocks climbed in Q3/2016 quarter-on-quarter. Yarn stocks were reduced in South America.
