The scheme applies to all on-roll employees retrospectively from April 1, 2021. Along with other benefits, dependents will also get insurance benefits where the sum insured is three times the CTC.
With the Covid-19 situation in the US under control to some extent, export of readymade garments has risen to the US from various countries. Bangladesh could not take advantage of this and its exports have declined.
As the Covid-19 situation is getting more complicated across Vietnam, the textile and garment sector is greatly affected. The sector might come down in the coming months.
