It will provide a seamless and uniform experience to garment manufacturers, exporters, local & international brands, buying houses, agents, traders and the fashion design houses. This would help build a strong collaboration between R|Elan™ and the entire value chain.

Inaugurating the studio, Hemant D Sharma, Sector Head – Polyester, said: “The R|Elan™ studio is a great platform for us to showcase the fabric samples to the buying houses, brands, exporters, garmenters, weavers and knitters giving them a taste of our innovative solutions.” The event was also attended by Gunjan Sharma, CMO – Polyester and Prashant Palsule, Regional Head – Polyester, Coimbatore.

Speaking on the occasion, Raja Shanmugam, President, Tirupur Export Association, said: “This is a good initiative by RIL to create the studio in the heart of a textile hub like Tirupur. For the exporters, it will help to diversify from cotton to performance-based fabrics. This will also help ease various constraints faced by the supply chain establishment like HEP partners.”

These smart fabrics have been designed to enhance comfort and aesthetics and it is the most sought-after fabric by renowned domestic and global brands, retailers and apparel manufacturers.
