Rajendra Mehta elevated as CHRO by Welspun Group

The Welspun Group has announced the
elevation of Rajendra Mehta to the CHRO of the Group.

Rajendra Mehta has a rich experience of 26 years
in driving strategic and transformational HR practices across verticals that
include Private Equity, BFSI, Entertainment, and Engineering industries. Since
the time he has joined the Textile division in May 2020, he has been
significantly contributing towards strengthening HR Functions at the company
level. He also has played a major role in driving key people practices,
bringing innovations, and has also worked to attain the company’s ESG goals.
Rajendra Mehta is going to take charge from September 1, 2021, with the aim to
conquer greater legacies for the vertical related to home textile, line pipes,
flooring solutions, infrastructure, steel, and Advanced Textiles.

The group wants to keep achieving
remarkable results in capacity, technology, agile partnerships, and cultural
stewardship. Such transformational objectives have paved a way for the
employees to get enriched experiences which will further have a positive impact
on the business.

One of the fundamental pillars of the
Group’s success has been the people’s practices. The key focus of the company
is on speed, agility, and ownership. The group wants continuous excellence in
business practices and with this new partnership, the group wants to cater to
the people objective as well.
