Perfect sizing & fitting for ?Plus Sizes?

For the first time, Human Solutions Group presented its sizing and fitting expertise at the Curvy Fashion Fair, which was held between January 19-21, 2016 in Berlin. Human Solutions will showcase specific solutions for manufacturers of ?Plus Sizes? ? and the latest VITUSbodyscan colour scanner.

Human Solutions Group presented its expertise on the subject of ?Plus Sizes? and sizing and fitting. ?Last year we expanded our iSize Portal with a data set for ladies? ?Plus Sizes? from 48 to 64?, says Anke Rissiek, Sizing & Fitting Manager at Human Solutions.

?We found that many of these sizes are just ?flattering?, because sizing and fitting has really been neglected in this segment until now. The sizes don?t match the body dimensions in iSize and that?s really detrimental to the size and fit and the wearability of a garment, and it?s the ?Plus Sizes? that particularly require good sizing & fitting,? says Rissiek.

At the fair, Human Solutions showed how manufacturers of plus-sized fashion can use iSize to determine the body dimensions of their individual target groups. The Group also showcased Bodyprofiler, a software solution that can be used to find the ideal garment size, even in online stores. The acquisition of body dimension data was also displayed at the booth. VITUSbodyscan colour scanner captures more than 150 individual body measurements of visitors in just seconds. The group?s fair programme is rounded off by the 3D simulation software Vidya.

Lena Nussmann, Assyst GmbH Product Consultant, Sizing & Fitting, gave a lecture on ?Plus Sizes ? Identifying and Utilising Sizing & Fitting Requirements.
