PDS announces new sourcing alliance with major French-headquartered supermarket chain

The retailer is one of the world’s largest retail groups, serving millions of customers daily through an extensive network of stores across multiple countries.

PDS, the global fashion supply chain solutions company, today announced that it has entered a Sourcing as a Service (SaaS) contract with the global sourcing arm of a Leading French-Headquartered Global Supermarket to manage and operate the retailer’s textile sourcing operations across Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka and Turkey.

The retailer is one of the world’s largest retail groups, serving millions of customers daily through an extensive network of stores across multiple countries.

Under the multi-year partnership, PDS will provide end-to-end sourcing, supply chain services through a dedicated operating subsidiary, supporting the Retailers textile sourcing strategy with a more agile sourcing model. PDS expects to manage apparel sourcing valued at over $250 million of FOB Volume annually.

The partnership is expected to commence from 1st November and reflects PDS’s continued expansion of long-term platform relationships with leading global retailers.
