The textile division of Reliance Industries Limited recently opened an office for its Only Vimal Sarees brand in Surat – the biggest market for sarees and dress materials in the country.

The Only Vimal Sarees brand was relaunched in January 2017 at a grand conference in Pattaya, Thailand. The relaunch had featured four Catalogue Collections – Urvashi, Shreya, Sangini and Amrita. The range has now been expanded to over 10 Catalogues, with the addition of new collections like Sonali, Arunima, Aashriya, Ishita and Sanjoli.

“The Surat Office will help us feel the pulse of the market and respond quickly to the ever-changing needs of it. Our main goal is to ensure that our existing clients get all the service and the support they need in time. We also wish to extend a warm welcome to saree dealers visiting Surat, looking for avant garde fashion, style and quality for which Reliance is renowned,” Pradeep Bhandari, CEO of Only Vimal, said.

Surat is known as the textile hub of the nation, and flaunts the label, the ‘Silk City of India’. It is famous for its cotton mills and Surat Zari Craft. Over the past few decades, the city has emerged as the biggest centre of man-made fibre (MMF) in India. Vivek Mehta, Head of Marketing, Only Vimal, said, “We are excited to bring the latest ranges of materials in modern design for the modern women of India.”

Inaugurating the office, Hemant Desai (President – Corporate Affairs) said, “Surat has been leading the country in terms of latest design and fashion trends. Only Vimal Sarees, with its wide range of collections, will help the city to further concrete its No.1 position.”
