Mutoh Belgium, a subsidiary of Mutoh Holdings Co Ltd, Japan, and leader in professional sign cutting plotters and piezo printers for commercial inkjet printing and direct-to-garment applications, display show digital textile printers at Heimtextil 2018, an expo for home and contract textiles, to be held from January 9 to 12, 2018, in Germany, in hall 6/0-C32.

The company will demonstrate its capabilities in digital direct-to-textile as well as dye sublimation printing for short run on-demand production of interior decoration, furniture fabrics, curtains, wall decoration, soft signage, etc.

Mutoh will be displaying the ValueJet 1948WX, a four heads 75-inch (1,910 mm) wide industrial high speed sublimation printer delivering top speeds up to 194 m²/h and the ValueJet 1938TX, a 75-inch (1910 mm) wide direct textile printer with dual staggered heads, offering high quality production speeds up to 40 m²/h.

The VJ-1948WX (1,910 mm – 75.19-inch) is a newly designed sublimation transfer printer featuring a staggered four print heads setup and large built-in dual heaters enabling high speed printing and improved productivity. The new printer delivers production speeds of 67 m²/h (720×720 – 4 pass) and 88 m²/h (360×1080 – 3 pass) up to 125 m²/h (360 x 720 – 2 pass). Top speed is 194 m²/h.

The VJ-1948WX printer is ideally suited for businesses looking for a high volume production printer for roll-to-roll digital transfer prints. Application possibilities are high quality personalised home textile decoration and deco fabrics, fast fashion, soft signage, sports gear and textile banners.

The VJ-1938TX is a 750-inch wide dual staggered head printer, targeted at sampling of short run on-demand digital production of home textiles, upholstery, interior deco fabrics, fast fashion, swimwear, flags, etc.
