Picanol to premier 2 rapier machines at ITMA Asia 2021

Picanol, one of
the world’s leading weaving machine manufacturers, has announced its
participation at the ITMA ASIA + CITME event, to be held from June 12, 2021, to
June 16, 2021, in Shanghai. The company will be exhibiting in Hall 3 Booth 27.

The company will
be displaying its range of air-jet and rapier machines and premiering two brand
new rapier machines – the new GTMax-i 3.0S in a 4 colour dobby execution,
weaving a denim style and the new GTMax-S in an 8 colour dobby machine in 380
cm reed width weaving a silk fabric.

Picanol will
also be demonstrating an OptiMax-i gripper machine in free flight execution of
540 cm width. This represents a significant innovation breakthrough for specific
technical segments.

Johan
Verstraete, Vice President Weaving Machines, Picanol said that, everyone at
Picanol is eager to help the customers by providing the best technologies
available on the market for air-jet and rapier machines, as well as an
outstanding local service and support team. He also said that, the four
development principles of Picanol – Smart Performance, Sustainability Inside,
Driven by Data, and Intuitive Control – guide the company in all their
ventures. He added that, inspired by these four principles, the R&D team
has been developing some really exciting innovations that will be displayed at
ITMA ASIA + CITME, including two air-jet weaving machines, four rapier weaving
machines for flat fabrics, and one rapier machine for weaving terry towel.
According to him, there will be an additional rapier machine in jacquard
execution at the Bonas booth.
