Global Textile Expo from Jan 27-29 in Coimbatore

Global Textile Expo (TEX TN) will be conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu at CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex, Coimbatore to encourage further development of textile industry in Tamil Nadu at a cost of Rs 2 crore.

Accordingly, TEX TN, the first-of-its-kind event, will be conducted during January 27-29, 2019 at Codissia Trade Fair Complex. The event will showcase the products being produced by the entire textile value chain including 100 per cent cotton yarn, polyester yarn, cotton, open end yarn, woven fabrics, knitted garments, made-ups, technical textiles, handloom products, silk, etc.

In this regard, a curtain raiser was conducted on October 26, 2018 at Hotel Le Meridien, Coimbatore. Coinciding the event, the Cotton Textiles Promotion Council of India (Texprocil) and PDEXCIL have come forward to conduct reverse buyers seller meet and obtain a necessary grant from the Ministry of Commerce & Industry.

The profile of the exhibitors will include ginners, manufacturers of man-made fibres, spinning mills, composite mills, knitting units, processing units, garment manufacturing units, handicrafts and khadi products, among others.
