K.U. Sodalamuthu bags top export award

Coimbatore-based K.U. Sodalamuthu and Co. Pvt. Ltd has won the Regional Export Award from the Engineering Export Promotion Council under the category “Special Trophy – Medium Enterprise”. The company won the award in recognition of achieving highest export performance during the year 2015-16. Since 1970, K.U. Sodalamuthu and Co. Pvt. Ltd has been manufacturing and exporting paper conversion machinery for the production of paper cones, tubes, edge protectors and pulp moulded products.

AC Moideen, Minister for Industries, Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Kerala, gave away the award at the function recently at Thiruvananthapuram and the company’s Managing Director, KS Balamurugan received it. K.U. Sodalamuthu and Co. Pvt. Ltd has won 21 export awards so far.
