Highest productivity, process- and product- safety and a sustainable input of environmental and human resources are today the major demands in the selection of a laminating and coating machine for the production of multifunctional laminates.

The Lacom MPBL 3200 Duplex Laminating- and coating machine provides the best conditions, which are needed for a profitable manufacturing of a PP Spunbond roofing underlay, according to the high technical and economical standards and international norms of the building and construction industry. The digital and mechanical symbioses between latest duplex laminating and coating technology and a driving system, which is perfectly adjusted to the physical characteristic of the to be treated nonwovens and membranes films, ensure the production of a 3-layer laminate with a lamination speed of up to 100m/min in only one machine pass. On non-stop configured lines efficiencies up to 95 per cent were measured and adjusted. The DUO function of the patented Lacom multipurpose coating head allow an controlled application of pre adjusted structures and shapes by the gravure roller system, besides the application of uniform fullcover films by working in the multiroller-modus. The thermoplastic or reactive hotmelt can have the function of an adhesion promoter or a barrier film in between the layers. Furthermore in form a self-adhesive film on the surface of the laminate as assembling aid.

With the application of environmental friendly hotmelt systems it was also possible to modify the total performance of the laminates. Improved heat- and UV stability and a maximum tensile strength and breathability during the complete lifecycle of the laminated are just a brief explanation of the performance profile of the new developed roofing.
