HGH India 2018, the annual trade show for Home Textiles, Home Décor, Gifts & Houseware in India is back with its 7th edition. The three day exposition was inaugurated by Dr Kavita Gupta, IAS Textile Commissioner, on July 3rd 2018.

HGH India 2018, the annual trade show for Home Textiles, Home Décor, Gifts & Houseware in India is back with its 7th edition. The three day exposition was inaugurated by Dr Kavita Gupta, IAS Textile Commissioner, on July 3rd 2018.

HGH India is the country’s largest trade show for integrated home products offering giving a unique opportunity to source world-class merchandise. The show will witness more than 550 brands and 100 exhibitors from 30 countries. They shall showcase their latest designs and product innovations. Approximately, 35,000 buyers, specifyers and decision makers are expected to come.

At HGH India 2018, Dr Kavita Gupta, IAS Textile Commissioner said, “HGH India has grown almost 40 per cent from last year with 600 manufactures and brands. We as a country are in the positon to buy and promote domestic items in the home textiles Industry especially now as our tastes are evolving and becoming more trendy and fashionable. The Trend Pavilion at HGH is particularly important as it sets the theme for the home textile and décor trends for the Indian market.

The Government is offering 25 per cent of subsidy for new investments along with income tax benefits which the home textile market will fully utilise. The Government is also actively looking at giving a positive push to certain areas of home textiles like anti bacterial property, fire retardency and other such innovations in the textile segment.”
