It’s a gold for Indo Count!

Indo Count Industries Limited, one of the leading manufacturer and exporter of bed linen and home textiles in India, has won the prestigious gold trophy for the “highest exports of cotton made-ups (bed linen/bed sheets/quilts)” for the year 2016-2017. Having won Bronze and Silver trophy in the past, this is the first time that Indo Count has been awarded with Gold Trophy.

Dr Kavita Gupta, Textile Commissioner, awarded the gold trophy to Anil Kumar Jain, Executive Chairman; Mohit Jain, Managing Director; and Kailash R Lalpuria, Group President, in a glittering function held on December 14 at Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai. Ujjwal Lahoti, Chairman, TEXPROCIL; Dr KV Srinivasan, Vice Chairman, TEXPROCIL; Dr Siddhartha Rajagopal, Executive Director TEXPROCIL, were also present on the dais.

Commenting on this achievement, Anil said, “This win is an endorsement from our customers to our commitment towards quality and services which we would continuously enhance to serve them better. This Trophy is the result of hard work put in by the Team and all stakeholders over the last decade and a significant milestone for us as it takes us to a leadership position in this category from India. Our focus in the home textiles segment backed by strong innovation skills and design capabilities have been widely appreciated by our Customers and this trophy is a testament of this.”

Indo Count exports in more than 54 countries across six continents. The company’s esteemed clientele include top global retailers and renowned international brands. Indo Count, incorporated in 1988, commenced its home textile division in 2007. The company has offices and subsidiaries in the US, UK, Australia and Dubai. Indo Count also forayed in domestic Indian market in 2016 by introducing brand “Boutique Living”.

The company’s long-term bank facilities have been assigned credit rating of CARE AA (Double A) with Stable outlook by CARE and “ICRA AA-” with positive outlook by ICRA. The said rating signifies high degree of safety regarding timely servicing of financial obligations. Such facilities carry very low credit risk.

Further, the company’s short-term bank facilities have been assigned credit rating of CARE A1+ (A one plus) by CARE and “ICRA A1+” by ICRA. The said rating signifies very strong degree of safety regarding timely servicing of financial obligations. Such facilities carry lowest credit risk.

“Boutique Living” is an aspirational brand launched by Indo Count to share its expertise in refined quality bed linen, currently experienced by global home linen brands, now being introduced for the Indian consumer. It is manufactured at Indo Count’s vertically integrated facility at Kolhapur. Indo Count Retail Ventures Pvt Ltd is lead by Asim Dalal with a team of professionals with years of collective experience in textile development, manufacturing, distribution and marketing.
